Comment rester actifs dans le soutien aux communautés dans le besoin?

How can we remain active in supporting communities in need?

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it's that our well-being, whether on a small or large scale, hangs by a thread. Of course, for some in more privileged socioeconomic strata, bouncing back from their current situation is much easier. If you wish to extend your generosity to the communities around you, near or far, here are three organizations open to donations of goods and money.

  1. At Doris's

This organization helps Inuit women experiencing homelessness in the city. It offers a range of services, including assistance and access to medical care, the ability to use their home address to receive mail, and a program to support them in their search for housing and furniture.

2. Canadian Women for Afghan Women

The mission of the Canadian Women for Afghan Women (CW4WAfghan) charity is to support the rights of Afghan women. With the situation in Afghanistan becoming increasingly critical in recent weeks, women are at the heart of serious humanitarian violence. Through this organization, you can help in several ways: by participating in an educational symposium with activities, panels, and expert guest speakers, or by making a direct donation to the charity.

3. Dress for Success Montreal

Dress for Success, a charity with which we have an official partnership, helps women in difficult situations regain their status in the professional world. By providing them with clean, second-hand clothes for interviews or for a simple day at work, Dress for Success gives those in need the confidence and dignity they deserve .

For those who wish to contribute, we offer a discount on each item donated and left at the shop for this purpose! Feel free to come and see us!
