Anne Lesperance founded Belle et Rebelle in 2007 in a small location in Rosemont la Petite Patrie, with the desire to promote emerging designers from Quebec and to make local creation as accessible as possible.

Hello, my name is Anne Lesperance .
I'm 45 and have two grown kids 18 and 19 who I love messing around with!
I am an inveterate traveler and I thrive on projects. Oddly enough, I like all things “arm job” and renovations and I can open a beer with a screwdriver…that makes me very proud!
I have owned Belle et Rebelle since 2007. I oversee operations, marketing and development. I'm also the one who chooses all the clothes you find in store!

I joined the beautiful Belle et rebelle team in 2020 as Director of Operations.
I oversee the smooth running of the boutique, manage human resources, and act as a liaison between our customers, marketing, and designers. Deeply committed to eco-responsible fashion, I find it inspiring to be able to showcase beautiful pieces, ethically designed right here in Quebec.

Passionate about the arts and everything related to design, I have been working for over 15 years in the development of fashion products, first as an employee in textile companies, then as an entrepreneur for several years. My mission at Belle & Rebelle is to ensure that our purchasing choices reflect the vision and values of the store, by favoring local and sustainable products as much as possible, while maintaining a unique and inspiring selection.

Self-taught and hands-on, creation and design have always been part of my life. I studied interior design, which opened me up to so many possibilities. This fascinating world of creators, artists, and artisans, where art in all its forms gravitates, still inspires me today.
I started my own business, with almost no experience, but full of convictions, ready for anything! This wonderful project of running a shop lasted 20 years, and that's my great pride.
I learned everything there, from importing to marketing, including the creation of clothing, jewelry, etc.
Also proud to have built a team of incredible women...one of them was Anne,...a very young Anne,...who would become a few years later, the founder of Belle et Rebelle. The bonds have always remained and since June 2025 the roles have been reversed, it is she who offers me a tailor-made position in her team of incredible women!
You will see me advising, marketing, redoing windows, as well as preparing your online orders, etc. A real hybrid! I can tell you how privileged, pampered and above all proud I feel to be here!!
