WASHING AND CARING FOR WOOL
• Wool does not need to be washed every time you wear it. Its fibers are naturally covered with a protective layer that makes them resistant to dirt and dust. Instead, hang it up to air out.
• To wash wool, use a special wool detergent at 30°C with a low spin cycle. For heavier garments, spin them to remove excess water without wringing them.
• Dry woolens flat on a drying rack, placing a towel underneath to absorb drips. Hanging wool to dry will cause the items to lose their shape.
• Fold knitwear and store it in drawers with mothballs. The weight of the wool will cause the garment to lose its shape if it is hung up.
• Pilling occurs naturally due to friction and can be easily removed with a de-pilling comb or fabric shaver.
