WASHING AND CARING FOR WOOL

• Wool doesn't need to be washed every time you wear it. Its fibers are naturally coated with a protective layer that makes them resistant to dirt and dust. Instead, hang it up to air it.

• To wash wool, use a special wool detergent at 30°C with a gentle spin cycle. For heavier garments, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing.

• Dry woolens flat on a drying rack, placing a towel underneath to absorb any drips. Hanging wool to dry will distort the pieces.

• Fold your knitwear and store it in drawers with mothballs. The weight of the wool will distort the garment if it is hung up.

• Pilling occurs naturally through friction and can be easily removed with a lint comb or fabric shaver.
