We wanted to place the hazy concept of chance in the deep end of efficiency. Norwegian Kine Andersen knows how to do that. Her drawings don't twist, they deliver punches. The artist, who studied at the University of Oslo, then Bergen, and who continues to live in Bergen for her 28th birthday, takes a mischievous pleasure in not beating around the bush. She looks at it, explodes it, and leaves again. The message is unwavering, there's no room for doubt.

Once the initial outburst of anger has passed, a thousand and one signs appear, giving this sudden revolt the depth of maturity. The vivid colors that immediately assailed us gradually reveal Kine's obsessions: feminism, the vanity of appearances, and addictions. And that's when we're so happy and extremely proud to introduce you to Kine Andersen, on the cover of our "Hasard" issue.

  • For the Hasard issue (Autumn 2018), Kine Andersen created this beautiful cover dedicated to the torments of the casino.

  • Poster size 29.7 x 42 cm

  • Risograph printing at the Kiblind Workshop
